Boerne Texas Area Events
Namaste Retreat is only 2 miles outside Boerne. This charming historical town of 9,000 is full of wonderful shops, restaurants, and things to do. Not only are there bookstores, boutiques, and art galleries, but there is a great bicycle shop and Harley Davidson dealership.
Enjoy a picnic, kayaking, canoeing, or birding at the Boerne City Lake or Guadalupe River. Plan a round of golf at one of the many near by golf courses, walk the nature center or tour one of our public guided caves. Enchanted Springs Ranch offers a wagon ride thru it’s 86 acre working ranch and western town.
Within 20 miles is Sister Creek Vineyards, Guadalupe State Park, Fiesta Texas, Bandera [ the cowboy capitol of the world] and the delightful historical town of Comfort. Quaint shops and restaurants are among the 100 structures on the National Register of Historic Places.
Within 40 miles: Blanco Lavender Festival offers an assortment of vendors and artists on the historic grounds of the Old Blanco County Courthouse in the center of Blanco, selling lavender items and lavender-related goods. Educational programs on lavender will be presented upstairs in the courthouse both days. Lavender farm tours are free admission and offer related classes and activities.
The Blanco Chamber of Commerce will host the Go Texan Wine tent featuring 10 of the best Wineries in Texas. The Chamber will sell wine samples as well as wine by the glass or bottle. They will also feature some of the best beers in Texas, including Real Ale, a Blanco microbrewery. Live entertainment will be on hand both days or at these individual farms: Wimberley Lavender Farm, or Hummingbird Lavender.

Nature: The Cibolo Wilderness Trail Native Plant Sale and Art in the Park are in the spring and throughout the summer is Cibolo Songs and Stories with music and dancing under the stars.
The Cibolo Nature Center is a non-profit organization with a mission of promoting conservation of natural resources through education and stewardship.
Arts: Parade of Artists, a self guided tour throughout
the galleries and studios of Boerne, held in the spring.
Art and Music Festival

food, activities and Art is held in October.
Antiques: Key To The Hills Antique Show, sponsored by the Boerne Chamber of Commerce, The Hill Country Optimist Antique Show and C. Jane Shop held at Enchanted Springs Ranch.
Fairs, Parades and Festivals:
Berges Fest is an annual June celebration before the huge parade, live entertainment, food & drink booths, activates for young and old. The Kendall County Parade and Rodeo and County Fair has been held in September for the past 101 years. Weihnachts Fest is the big Christmas night parade with caroling, Santa, vendor booths and a Biergarten. The first three weekends in December are full of Hill Country Christmas activities.

and The St. Valentines Day Massacre is held at the fair
grounds with vendors, games, and live music.
